This IP65 GU10 downlight complies with building regulations parts B (fire safety) and E (acoustics), making it suitable for use in both domestic and commercial settings. In the event of a fire, its ventilation holes will close, helping to stop the flames from spreading. It's compliant to suit 12.5 mm plasterboard, double layer 15 mm plasterboard and double layer 15 mm fireboard, providing 30, 60 and 90-minute fire ratings respectively. It comes with heavy-duty retention clips to keep the fixture securely in place. The lamp has a strong steel body and a cast chrome surround for style and durability.
