The CED Double Pole RCD for Consumer Units is designed to give protection for fatal electric shock on a person by reducing to safe levels the value and the time a person is exposed to electric current flowing through the body. It also protect household and commercial distribution systems. This units disconnects both line and neutral going feeds on trip with 30mA tripping current and should be used along with MCB to detect short circuit and overload current.
